@liveatgoodnightatx hosted a Winter Wines tasting for their residents and invited Wandering Wineaux and @housewineaustin to bring the flavor. Austin House Wine poured a beautiful selection of winter-friendly wines, while we created a winter-themed grazing board layered with bold cheeses, hearty charcuterie, seasonal fruits, and rich, wintry flavors. Every pour had a perfect pairing on the board. Today we honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day—recognizing the original stewards of this land and the living cultures, languages, and contributions of Native peoples. We’re pausing to listen, learn, and take action beyond a single day. It’s a reminder that there’s no health without mental health, and that checking in on yourself—and each other—matters. This year’s global focus spotlights mental health needs during humanitarian emergencies, but care and compassion start right where we are.
